Welcome back to an exciting new school year. Below is information regarding safety procedures.
Safety Procedures
School Hours- Students must be in class by arrival time.
PreK- 1st 8:20-1:50 M-F
2nd-8th 8:35-3:05 M, T, Th,F
8:35-1:50 Wednesdays
Head Start 8:15-3:05 M-F
To ensure student safety, our arrival/dismissal procedures have been modified. Please note, although arrival/dismissal procedures have changed, our main entrance for school business during the hours of 8:35-3:05 will remain at Drexel Circle.
ARRIVAL: CHANGE
Student arrival begins at 7:40 a.m., no supervision prior to this time. Breakfast- from 7:40 – 8:10 a.m.
7:40-8:35- Arrival Entrance is Drexel Avenue and 14 Street.
8:35-3:05- Main Entrance is Drexel Circle. Any Tardy students are to enter through Drexel Circle.
Parents may escort students in for the first two days only. As of August 21, 2019, students will enter on their own. Parents of ESE self-contained, PreK and Head Start students may escort students to the cafeteria entrance or PreK/Head start classroom.
Arrival Entrances:
DREXEL and 14th Street - 7:30-8:35 ALL STUDENTS- Gate closes at 8:35
Drexel Circle 8:35-3:00 Entrance for Fienberg Fisher K8 Visitors
Drexel Avenue and 14th Street will be open for student arrival until 8:35 a.m. Students must be inside classrooms by their grade level start time.
After 8:35, Drexel Circle will be opened and manned by security for Miami Beach/Fienberg Fisher K-8 Visitors.
DISMISSAL: Change
PreK and Kg, 1st grade students will be dismissed from the class at 1:50; Head Start at 3:05
All students will be dismissed through Drexel Avenue and 14th Street.
